(although apple still insists it was user error). Large batches of stolen accounts were sold in 2010 and last month 50,000 stolen accounts were for sale in China. Was that really phishing? When his apps weren't selling fast enough, app developer, Thuat Nguyen , hacked into the customers’ accounts and bought his apps for them. And lets not forget the email below went out to 300,000 iTunes users on 10/01/2010, the links took you to a site where they said your Acrobat reader needed to be updated, but they really installed Zeus financial malware.
